Senior Pastor in Tucker

First Presbyterian Church of Tucker called me in 2010, after their pastor died suddenly. For seven years we preached through books like Revelation, Zephaniah and 1 John, many of those sermons are still online at anthonyrlocke.com.

We opened a new worship service at a local assisted-living community, revitalized the sanctuary and welcomed young families, and membership grew by about a third. Growth brought tension too, and I learned to lead through it.

What I learned: a church grows when it goes to where people already are.
