Chapter 1 · Early years

Roots and Family

Where Tony learned to work hard and serve: his father, his family, and a home built on faith.

Tony Locke with his father

Every story of service starts somewhere. Mine started at home, watching my father work. He built a business that served thousands of families in Atlanta, and years later I would join him as a partner. The lesson I took from him was simple: show up, keep your word, and take care of people.

God gave me a family that still gathers around the table: my wife Jenn, our children, and my father, who is pictured here with me. Everything else in this story grew out of that soil.

What I learned: faithfulness in small things at home is the training ground for everything else.
